Annexes
The Annexes Online training course provides an overview of the subject of annexes and looks at their impact for energy assessors. Although annexes are not that common at some point an energy assessor is likely to encounter a situation where they will have to make a decision as to whether or not an annexe is present.
The online training looks in detail at annexes firstly by examining the definition of an annexe and what constitutes a separate dwelling for the purposes of the EPC. The module then goes on to look at the RdSAP conventions that apply to annexes before looking through a series of different real life examples of annexes.
Completion of The Annexes Online training course will provide 1/2 hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement. The module is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD. Upon completion of the module and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team.
