The course includes a half-day ‘in centre’ practical session once you have completed the e-learning modules.

This BPEC water regulations online CPD module is for anyone requiring an understanding of water regulations/water bylaws. It is also for those wishing to become approved plumbers/contractors.

Successful candidates are encouraged to join the WIAPS – the Water Industry’s Approved Plumbers Scheme. This enables you to issue a certificate of completion to both the householder and water company.

This elearning course covers the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England and Wales) and the Water Byelaws 2004 (Scotland) which meets the requirements of WRAS (the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) of which the majority of the UK water companies are members.

After successful completion of this course, you will be able to apply to your local water company to be an ‘approved contractor’ for water regulation purposes. This means you can self-certify your plumbing work and also work for housing associations and other various non-government bodies.
