Learning Objectives

This Bitesize non-Domestic Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards online CPD course provides a through overview of the Minimum Energy Efficiency Requirements for non-domestic buildings which are coming into effect in April 2018. These standards will impact upon the vast majority of non-domestic buildings which are rented out, and should have a large impact upon work opportunities for non-domestic energy assessors with the increased workload.

This module looks in detail at the background to the standards, as well as looking through the details of the legislation and which types of building and tenancy will be impacted.

The Non-Domestic Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards online CPD course also looks through which buildings will be exempt from the minimum standards, as well as exploring what the enforcement process will be for those who do not comply. This module is essential reading for any energy assessors so they can stay one step ahead of the curve!

Completion of the module will provide 1/2 hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement.

The module is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD.

Upon completion of the module and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team.
