Solid Walls
This Bitesize module gives an overview of solid brick wall construction. Correct entry of a property’s wall construction is one of the most fundamentally important aspects of an energy assessment, and completion of this module will provide a firm understanding of various aspects relating to solid brick construction.
This module looks in detail at the principles behind solid brick wall construction, before then examining the techniques which can be used to ensure that solid brick walls are identified accurately. The module then goes on to look at the options available for solid brick insulation including both internal and external options.
Completion of the module will provide 1/2 hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement. The module is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD. Upon completion of the module and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team.
