The ESOS energy savings opportunity scheme is a new mandatory energy assessment and energy saving identification scheme for businesses in the UK.
The ESOS energy savings opportunity scheme aims to save the UK at least £1.6bn in energy costs by the year 2030.
ESOS registration fee
After fulfilling all requirements, assessors need to register with The ESOS register to become lead assessors.
Registration fee is £495+vat in the first year, this includes the joining fee.
An annual subscription fee of £250+vat has to be paid thereafter from the second year.

You are likely to be in the Esos energy savings opportunity scheme if, on the qualification date of 31st December 2014 for the first phase of Esos you are:
An undertaking which has 250 or more employees in the UK. -An undertaking which has fewer than 250 employees, but has:
An annual turnover exceeding €50m and, -A balance sheet exceeding €43m
Part of a corporate group which includes an undertaking which meets criteria 1 or 2 above.
The qualification date for the 1st phase is 31st December 2014.
