 What is Professional Idemnity insurance?
- Professional Indemnity insurance covers you in the unlikely event that an error has been made when carrying out work for a customer such as incorrect advice or mistakes within energy calculations. This also covers the information contained in an EPC.
Indemnity Limit
- £5,000,000 any one occurrence and in all in the period of insurance
What is Public Liability Insurance?
- Public Liability insurance covers personal injury or property damage claims made against you or your business by members of the public.

Clients Activities include:
- Domestic EPC's (including SAP/On Construction). Domestic Floor Plans are also included where
- Lodged at the same time as an associated EPC
- Domestic Green Deal Occupancy Assessments (run off for past assessments)
- Domestic Retrofit Assessments
- Commercial Levels 3 & 4 EPC's (including On Construction)
- Public Building Display Energy Certificates (and Advisory Reports)
- Air Conditioning Inspection Certificates (Levels 3 & 4)
- Section 63 Energy Assessments
- Legionella Risk Assessments
- Heat Pump Feasibility Assessments
- Non-Domestic Level 5 EPCs
- Retrofit Assessments
Cover is also included for verbal advice given by members in relation to improving an EPC rating and verbal/written advice relating to MEES Surveys.
The cover detailed is extended to include any principal.
