The need for high quality U-Value calculations has never been so important, and individuals need to be able to show clients that their calculations and accurate and correct. Being a registered member of the U-Value Competency Register and having quality assured calculations is the best way to do this.
Being a member of the register also provides you with :

Joining the Competency Register
There are two routes to joining the Competency Register; Experienced Practitioner route & New entrant.

Experienced Practitioner route
This route is available for individuals who have been undertaking U-Values at a professional level for at least 3 years. Applicants will need to provide evidence of the work they have undertaken and complete a U-Value calculation to finalise their application.
New entrant
This route is for individuals involved in the construction industry who want to add U-Value calculations to the list of services that they can provide to their customers. Applicants will need to complete a U-Value training course and then provide a series of calculations to become registered.

Registration Fee: £90 for the first year
