This level 4 HVAC systems part one online CPD course is the first part of a two-part series looking at the different HVAC systems which will be encountered during a Level 4 non domestic energy assessment. Entering a HVAC system correctly is one of the most important aspects of the non-domestic EPC process, and completion of this module will help in ensuring that this causes no problems for assessors.

This module is aimed at offering Level 3 assessors who are looking to upgrade to Level 4 an overview of the systems they will encounter, but also provides a useful refresher for qualified Level 4 assessors.

This module looks in depth at fan coil systems, water loop heat pumps, chilled beams and chilled ceilings. This includes an overview of how these systems operate, the pros and cons of each and which systems offer the best efficiency.

The level 4 HVAC systems part one online CPD course also gives an overview of why HVAC is important and how the SBEM calculation engine processes the data entered.

Completion of the module will provide one hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement.
The module is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD.

Upon completion of the module and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team.
