Main, Second Main and Secondary Heating
A 1hr Main, Second Main and Secondary Heating is online training course discussing the difference between Main, Second Main and Secondary heating systems and how these are treated differently within RdSAP. Incorrect identification of these systems is one of the leading causes of audit failure and it is important that assessors are able to recognise the different classifications for each of the different system types.
The online training course firstly gives a detailed definition for each of these three different system types before looking at the Conventions which outline how each should be assessed. The online course then finishes with a look through various different real life scenarios outlining how dwellings which have multiple different types of heating system present should be entered.
Completion of the online training course will provide 1hrs worth of training/CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement. The online course is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the training. Upon completion of the course and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos training team.
