DEC – Advisory Report Error for Buildings more than 1,000sq.m.

Dear Accredited Member,

Following feedback from Landmark at a recent conventions meeting, an error concerning Advisory Report validation periods has now been rectified.

Since 9^th January 2013, ARs for buildings great that 1,000m² had been showing an incorrect validity of 10 years. The correct validity period should be 7 years.

Corrected Advisory Reports can now be downloaded from the Non-Domestic Register: www.ndepcregister.com

We advise assessors that they should contact clients regarding this error and either send them a copy of the corrected report, or email a link to the Register, allowing them to download it for themselves.

The validity period for ARs of buildings between 250 m² and 1,000m² remains 10 years.
