RdSAP Mandatory Minimum Evidence Requirements
Dear Assessor,
We have received notification from DCLG that with immediate effect all schemes should consider the RdSAP minimum evidence as a mandatory requirement.
This means if you provide evidence for an audit and it does not contain any of the minimum evidence (as listed in the Quidos QA Standards document) it will fail for insufficient evidence. Depending on the nature of the missing evidence, it may or may not necessitate the replacement of the EPC.
If your EPC is called for audit and you find you do not have all the minimum evidence, do not be tempted to provide photos from other assessment. This would be classed as Stock Photos.
Using stock photos with the intention to mislead can result in you being struck off. It is far better to fail an audit for insufficient evidence that to lose your ability to work as an assessor.
Quidos is working with DCLG to amend the minimum evidence list to reflect the changes that have been made to RdSAP since the original list was created.
These amendments will also involve changes on how the evidence is audited. In the meantime you must ensure that all the minimum evidence listed must be gathered and provided for all assessments.
