We’re excited to announce that we are now official sponsors of the Healthy Homes and Buildings All-Party Parliamentary Group (HHB APPG) – a cross-party group shaping policy to improve housing standards and support healthier, more energy-efficient living.
The HHB APPG works to ensure that the places where we live, work, and learn actively support the health, wellbeing, and resilience of their occupants. By engaging Parliamentarians, housing experts, local authorities, and industry leaders, the APPG is shaping national conversations and policies that will define the future of our homes.
Their focus includes:
- Ensuring homes are energy-efficient, well-ventilated, and safe
- Addressing the health risks of cold, damp, and overcrowded housing
- Promoting retrofitting and climate-resilient design
- Aligning housing strategy with NHS health outcomes and net zero goals
- Advocating for joined-up, place-based policy across departments
We share these values deeply. That’s why we’re proud to support the HHB APPG as they work to influence meaningful change at the highest levels of government.
Just two weeks ago, our Managing Director, Catherine Garrido attended a key session hosted by the APPG in Westminster, where experts highlighted the urgent need to tackle poor housing as both a health risk and a climate risk.
It was a powerful reminder of how crucial this work is – and why we’re stepping forward to be part of it.
