1960s Domestic Housing
This 1960s Domestic Housing online training course gives an overview of 1960s domestic housing. Understanding how domestic construction has changed throughout the years is an important aspect of being a domestic energy assessor and this module gives an introduction to the various different types of dwelling that were built during this period.
This online training course will examine different types of construction including crosswall, chalet bungalows and high rise buildings before moving on to look at the typical heating systems that were installed in houses from the 1960s. Finally the module concludes by looking through typical energy efficiency characteristics of dwellings from this era.
Completion of the module will provide 1/2 hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement. The module is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD. Upon completion of the module and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team.
