Upskill Training for Jersey Domestic Energy Assessors
Once Jersey-based Energy Assessors have been qualified to the UK qualification, they will need to go through a final upskill process to get fully competent with the Jersey software, Conventions, and Quidos scheme and software.
By the end of the training, you will be able to:
Describe the basics of Jersey RdSAP requirements
Use your knowledge to interpret Jersey RdSAP Conventions
Input your collected data into the iQ-Energy software
Identify Quidos Support systems
The course is an online video which goes through a number of different topics: a refresher of RdSAP, the Jersey-specific Conventions, using our iQ-Energy lodgement software, and how Quidos can support you.
At the end of the training, you will need to complete a skills assessment to ensure that you are up-to-speed on all of the requirements of being a DEA for Jersey. Don’t worry though, the assessment is not a pass/fail – we’ll provide you with feedback on your responses and provide you with your completion certificate.
This upskill training will provide you with TWO hours of CPD, as well as giving you access to two additional Quidos CPD modules: How an audit is completed and How to pass a domestic audit.
This upskill module is a requirement to be able to practice as a domestic energy assessor in Jersey, and has been approved for use by the Government of Jersey
