This module gives a thorough overview of the most common mistakes which domestic energy assessors make when completing their assessments, highlighting the issues which most often result in reports being classified as defective. The module looks at ten distinct errors which DEAs often make, looking at what the individual mistake is and then how it should be dealt with correctly. The common mistakes which are featured within this CPD module include incorrect selection of meter type, how boilers which are not within the database should be entered, and when annexes need separate EPCs. It also looks at how HMOs and highly glazed extensions should be handled by assessors.
