Conversions
This Bitesize conversions online training course provides an overview of the subject of conversions and how they should be dealt with for domestic energy assessments. Conversions are a common cause of auditing failure and it is important that assessors are well aware of the approach that should be followed when assessing a unit which has been converted.
The training course looks through the Convention which outlines how conversions should be handled as well as examining the requirements of Building Regulations for converting buildings. The course then goes on to look at an actual case study of how a conversion should be assessed and entered for an RdSAP assessment.
Completion of the conversions online training course will provide 1/2 hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement. The course is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD. Upon completion of the online training course and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team.
