Quidos CPD Series: Career Development
This Quidos CPD Series: Career Development provides a thorough introduction of how to sketch accurate domestic floor plans for estate and marketing agents, the subject of lease plans and looks through the mandatory requirements that must be met when a lease plan is produced and a full overview of the Legionella bacteria and the processes involved in creating a Legionella risk assessment for clients and landlords.
Chapter one: Floor Plans (115662)
The first section of this chapter is a helpful video walk-through around an existing property, which demonstrates the basic techniques and processes required for drawing a floor plan.
The second video then shows you how a floor plan sketch can be converted into a digital version by using our cutting edge zPlan software package.
Watching both of our online training videos will show you how a floor plan needs to be sketched and then converted into a format that agents can use as part of their marketing materials.
When candidates have finished the above sections, they will be required to produce their own digital floor plan in order to complete the training course. The time taken to complete this task depends on the individual; it can take anything from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Chapter two: Legionella Training (116456)
All landlords must ensure that the dangers associated with Legionella have been fully investigated within their rented properties, and a documented Legionella risk assessment is typically seen as the best means of achieving this.
This chapter will go through all of the critical requirements associated with completing a Legionella risk assessment. We will look through all the different important aspects of data that must be collected for the process, as well as looking at how to create a report within the Quidos iQ-Energy software. Whilst this module is not classified as mandatory in order to use the software and create reports, we strongly advise assessors to complete this module prior to undertaking Legionella surveys.
Chapter three: Introduction to Lease Plans (116457)
This chapter provides assessors with an in-depth summary of what is required in the process of creating a lease plan.
In addition, this module gives an overview of how the lease plan process usually operates from start to finish in the real world, as well as what the legal requirements are in relation to lease plan production.
Completion of the Quidos CPD Series: Career Development can be used to provide 6 hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement. TheQuidos CPD Series: Career Development is comprised of a series of presentations followed up by short multiple choice quizzes, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD.
Upon completion of the Quidos CPD Series: Career Development and successful undertaking of the quizzes, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team
