An overview of timber frame wall construction. Correct entry of a property’s wall construction is one of the fundamental aspects of an energy assessment, and completion of this module will provide a firm understanding of various aspects relating to timber frame construction.
This module looks in detail at the principles which underline timber frame wall construction, before going on to look in detail at how timber frame walls can be accurately identified and characterised. The module then finishes by looking at the insulation options which are available for timber frame properties and how feasible these approaches are.
Presentation followed by a short multiple choice quiz.
