This module gives some useful hints and tips to help with correctly identifying when a property was originally constructed. Identifying the build date of a property can be one of the more difficult decisions made for a domestic energy assessment and this module will give some advice on how this can be made easier.
Furthermore, it will look at some unique methods of identifying when a property may have been built, including the use of historical maps and council tax banding. The module will then conclude by seeing how council planning applications and other date clues located within a property can help lend information as to when a property may have been built.
