It will examine different types of construction including the classic 1930s semi-detached house before moving on to look at the typical heating system and services that were initially installed within 1930s properties. Finally the module concludes by looking through typical energy efficiency characteristics of dwellings from this era and how these buildings have had their energy efficiency retrospectively improved.
