This module is the second of a two-part series looking at the different HVAC systems that will be encountered during a Level 4 non domestic energy assessment. Entering a HVAC system correctly is one of the most important aspects of the non-domestic EPC process, and completion of this module will help in ensuring that this causes no problems for assessors. It aims to offer Level 3 assessors who are looking to upgrade to Level 4 an overview of the systems they will encounter, but also provides a useful refresher for qualified Level 4 assessors.
Following on from the first module in the series, this module looks at the remainder of Level 4 HVAC systems that will be encountered, including constant and variable volume systems and the different variations on these. This two part series will not be focusing on chillers, air handling unit and MTHW/LTHW boilers – these aspects will be covered by a future CPD module on the topic.
