This module is the first part of a two-part series, which looks closely at the different HVAC systems that will be encountered during a Level 3 non domestic energy assessment. Entering a HVAC system correctly is one of the most important aspects of the non-domestic EPC process, and completion of this module will help in ensuring that this aspect of the process causes no problems for assessors.
This module looks in depth at central heating systems using water distribution as well as split/multi split systems, and provides a large amount of information and detail on both of these system types. This includes information on how these systems can be identified, the benefits of their use and operation, and how efficiency levels should be calculated. It also gives an overview of why HVAC is important and how the SBEM calculation engine processes the data entered.
