This NDEA Common Problems module is the first in a two part series exploring some common problems that non-domestic energy assessors encounter when undertaking non-domestic assessments. There is a significant amount of data that needs to be collected and then entered when producing a non-domestic EPC, and a large number of Conventions and rules which govern how reports should be completed, it is therefore very easy for NDEA assessors to come unstuck on certain issues and find themselves making mistakes within the software.
This module remedies this by identifying some of the most common mistakes and errors which are made by NDEA assessors, and offers advice and clarification on how to handle these situations in practice. The subjects covered by this module include: vaulted roofs, indirectly conditioned spaces, zones without fixed HVAC, the selection of appropriate activity types and display lighting.
